Fort Worth, TX – Several employees from OpenRoad Lending
spent the workday volunteering at the Tarrant County Area Food Bank’s
warehouse, where donated food products are sorted, inspected and repacked for
distribution to a network of partner organizations in a 13-county area. “Those
who volunteer in quality control make a BIG difference, helping to ensure that
our neighbors in need receive high quality food that is safe” said Linda Smith,
Director of Volunteer Services at the Food bank.

 “We are excited to
continue our support of the Tarrant County Food Bank” said Chris Goodman,
President and CEO of OpenRoad Lending. During the recent holiday season,
OpenRoad made a food and cash donation that provided 5000 meals to needy
families in Tarrant County. OpenRoad also provides paid time off to its
employees in order for them to volunteer time serving and working at local charities.
